*All prices above are for studio lessons (at the teacher's home). In-home lessons (at the student's home) are available for an additional $5 per lesson or $20 per month charge.
A student's first lesson is free of charge.
Tuition is the same whether there are 4 or 5 weekly lessons in a month when the month is paid in full. This breaks down to $25 for a 30 minute lesson, with the 5th week (when it occurs in certain months) free. (No free lessons if paying week-to-week.)
All tuition is for one-on-one lessons, not group classes.
Lesson Policies
Tuition is the same whether there are 4 or 5 weekly lessons in a month if tuition is paid for month in full.
If a student gives at least 24 hour notice of need to cancel a lesson, one make-up lesson per month is offered as a courtesy (subject to teacher's availability).
If the teacher ever needs to cancel a lesson, there will be no loss to the student. A make-up lesson, credit, or refund will be offered.
Students are encouraged to arrive a few minutes prior to their scheduled lesson time to ensure that they are ready and no lesson time is missed. If a student is tardy, they will only have the time remaining in the scheduled lesson.
Studio lessons take place at teacher's home (in east Palmdale). In-home lessons (at the student's home) are available in Palmdale, Lancaster, Quartz Hill, Littlerock, and Acton on Saturdays for an additional $5/lesson charge.
Parents (or other guardian) of young students are encouraged to be present for each lesson.
Students are expected to practice a minimum of 5 days per week, with the length of time varying depending on the age and level of the student (not less than 20 minutes).
